Specialised experience exists in naval combat systems, army command support systems, maritime command support systems, in particular mine warfare and In service support systems.

Saab Systems is the largest subcontractor to the ANZAC Ship Project, providing the command and control system, fire control system, target indication radar and combat systems integration services.

Saab has designed and developed the Battlefield Command Support System (BCSS) for the Australian Army.

Since completion of a mine warfare system for Australia, the company has settled export contracts for a Mine Warfare Data Centre for the Royal Turkish Naval Forces Command
